Software Help That's Actually Down the Road

We're based in Seymour and we work with businesses throughout the Naugatuck Valley and greater New Haven County. That's not a marketing radius drawn on a map — it's the area we can reasonably drive to for a first meeting, which turns out to matter when the conversation is about replacing software your business runs on.

Most of the agencies competing for this work are in Hartford, Stamford, or out of state entirely. For a twelve-person company in Derby, that means every conversation happens over video with someone who has never seen the place and is quoting a Fairfield County rate.

Where We Work

  • Seymour

Home. This is where we work from and where the business is registered — so if you want to meet somewhere on Main Street rather than over video, that's an easy yes.

  • Ansonia & Derby

Two of the densest small-business corridors in the Valley, and the ones where we most often see a decade-old site running on a WordPress install nobody has logged into in years.

  • Shelton

More corporate than the rest of the Valley — Bridgeport Avenue is full of companies big enough to have real software problems but too small to have an internal dev team. That's squarely the custom software and integrations work.

  • Naugatuck & Beacon Falls

Manufacturing and trades, where the software problem is usually spreadsheets and paper doing a job an application should be doing.

  • Oxford

Spread out, service-business heavy, and the kind of place where being findable on a phone at the moment somebody needs you matters more than anything else on a website.

  • New Haven

Half an hour down Route 8 and 34. Bigger market, more agencies competing, and more businesses who have already been burned by one.

Outside these towns? It's still worth asking. Most of this work happens remotely regardless of where either of us sits — the in-person part matters most at the beginning.

What We See Around Here

A few patterns come up often enough in Valley businesses to be worth naming:

  • A site built once, in about 2014. It still loads, technically. It's on a WordPress version with known vulnerabilities, the person who built it is unreachable, and nobody has the login.
  • One person who is the system. An office manager holding three spreadsheets and a process entirely in their head. That's fine until they take a vacation.
  • Software that doesn't talk. QuickBooks over here, a scheduling tool over there, and somebody retyping between them every morning.
  • A quote that made no sense. An agency proposed $40,000 and a six-month engagement for something that's genuinely a few weeks of work.

If any of that sounds like your business, a 20-minute call costs you nothing and we'll tell you honestly whether it's worth doing anything about.
